Overview

The Wild Tunes Festival 2025 ran under the well-known "Umsonst & Draußen" (Free & Outdoors) concept over two summer days on Bamberg's Jahnwiese. Regional bands and supra-regional acts performed without an admission fee, complemented by food trucks and a curated second-hand market. The edition confirmed the festival's place in Bamberg's summer calendar.

In 2025, Bamberger Festivals e.V. once again relied on the proven concept of a completely free open-air event on the Jahnwiese. The mix of Upper Franconian newcomers and supra-regional indie and rock acts attracted a broad audience from Bamberg and the surrounding area.

Accompanying offerings such as the second-hand market, food trucks, and information stands from regional initiatives rounded off the program. The positive reception of the format confirmed its continuation in 2026.
