Overview

The 21st edition of the Wernecker Kulturfrühling 2025 offered around 17 events in music, theater, cabaret, readings, and art. Opening at Café Balthasar in Werneck Castle, closing with the Fränkisches Mariensingen in Vasbühl. The Market Town of Werneck thus once again established its cultural festival as the most important spring cultural meeting point in the Schweinfurt region.

The 21st edition in 2025 ran from mid-March to the end of April and continued the festival's established line: diversity of genres, a mix of regional stars and nationally known guests, and consistently high-quality venues – from the baroque Café Balthasar in the castle to the church in Hergolshausen.

With the success of the 21st edition, preparations for the 22nd season in 2026 were already underway in 2025. The organizational lead traditionally lies with the Market Town of Werneck, whose cultural department curates a new program year after year.
