Overview

The 18th Wentorf Culture Week took place in 2025 during the Pentecost and following week — as always with a diverse programme of music, art, literature, theatre, readings, workshops, and children's events at several venues in Wentorf near Hamburg. Organiser: Förderkreis Wentorfer Kulturwoche e. V. and the municipality of Wentorf. Most events were, as usual, free of charge.

The 18th edition in 2025 continued the proven format — ten days of programming with a focus on music, art, literature, and theatre, supplemented by workshops and a children's programme. The Martin-Luther-Kirche, the Gemeinschaftsschule, and the Alte Schule hosted the main events.

As in previous years, the Culture Week was supported by voluntary commitment, with the support of the municipality of Wentorf and local sponsors. Most concerts and readings remained free of charge, with donations funding future years. The Wentorf Culture Week has established itself as a fixture in the cultural calendar of the Herzogtum Lauenburg district and attracts visitors from Wentorf, Reinbek, and the eastern Hamburg metropolitan area.
