Overview

The Wendelsteiner Kirchweih 2025 took place, as every year, on the last weekend of June – four days of folk festival in the old town with rides, a festival tent, raising of the Kärwabaum, and the grand parade by the Kärwa All Stars on Sunday at 1 PM.

The Wendelsteiner Kärwa 2025 took place at the end of June in its usual format. The Kärwa All Stars Wendelstein once again transformed the old town along Hauptstraße and Röthenbacher Straße into a large folk festival with rides, market stalls, a festival tent, and a live program.

Highlights, as in previous years: ecumenical opening service on Friday, raising of the Kärwabaum by the Kärwa All Stars, mayor's beer tapping, parade on Sunday at 1 PM through the old town, and the classic Kärwamontag with Frühschoppen. Wendelstein once again proved to be one of the largest and most attended parish festivals in Middle Franconia.
