Overview

The 32nd edition of Welttheater der Straße 2025 once again brought together spectacular large-scale productions and artistic experiments. With a good weather record and strong visitor numbers, the festival confirmed its reputation as one of the most renowned German street theatre festivals. Opening at the Marktplatz, programme at several venues in Schwerte's city centre.

The 2025 edition featured, among others, the French company Les P'tits Bras with 'Vent D'Ouest' on the Marktplatz, alongside local Schwerte theatre groups with their own productions. Contemporary circus, acrobatics, street theatre, and experimental installations were spread across the festival days. The support association and sponsors contributed to the financing.
