WeinSommer Aachen — Wine Festival on the Katschhof

WeinSommer 2025 at the Traditional August Date

The 2025 edition followed the proven concept: around 20 vintner stands from Rheinland-Pfalz on the Katschhof, Thursday to Sunday, open-air with live music in the evening. WeinFreund Aachen once again curated a program that covered the most important German wine-growing regions — from Mosel and Pfalz to Nahe and Rheinhessen.

Immediately after the 2025 edition, the organizer announced the move to June 2026 as an adjustment to the FEI World Equestrian Games, which will be held in Aachen in 2026. This transparency in the planning process was positively received by the public and exhibiting vintners — WeinSommer thus maintains its position as a reliable event in the city's summer program.
