Edition 2025 — Christmas Market Weinheim
The 2025 Weinheim Christmas Market took place over three Advent weekends from December 5 to 21, 2025, on the market square. Opening on Dec. 5 at 5 p.m. by Mayor Andreas Buske with a saxophone ensemble. Around 10 stalls, Santa Claus every Sunday, and the children's carousel characterized the cozy market on the Bergstraße.
Cozy and Consistent
The 2025 edition continued the proven concept of the club-run market. Despite its manageable size (around 10 stalls), the market square attracted many Weinheim families and day-trippers from the Rhein-Neckar district on all three Advent weekends. The opening on December 5, 2025, by Mayor Andreas Buske with the saxophone ensemble was, as every year, a moment of atmosphere for the Bergstraße town.
Santa Claus Sundays
The visit from Santa Claus at 5 p.m. on each of the three Advent Sundays was once again the most popular program item. With bags full of gifts, he entertained the children at the market fountain. The IG Marktplatz and the city are continuing the concept unchanged in 2026 — with the opening on December 5, 2026.
