Overview

The 40th Weinberghüttenfest Großwallstadt 2025 — the grand anniversary edition — was celebrated from July 25 to 28 on the Main meadows. For four days, wine tastings, Franconian delicacies, and live music shaped the atmosphere: Brass Band Babaloda on Saturday, Franconian wine royalty and the Großwallstadt Music Association on Sunday, "8 Franken" on Monday. Hosted by the wine families Karrer, Gigerich, and VineaMea (Spilger).

The 40th Weinberghüttenfest 2025 was a special edition: 40 years after its premiere in 1986, the three Großwallstadt wine families Weinbau Karrer, Weingut Gigerich, and VineaMea celebrated their anniversary together.

The festival opened on Friday, July 25, with a relaxed start. On Saturday, the Brass Band Babaloda performed, on Sunday, the organizers welcomed the Franconian wine royalty and the Großwallstadt Music Association; the band "8 Franken" provided the finale on Monday. The festival took place on the Main meadows, as in previous years — the relocation from the vineyard to the riverside has been established since 2022.
