Wein-Wanderweg-Fest along a 13 km route between Martinstein and Bad Sobernheim
The Mittlere Nahe wine trail is one of the most scenically attractive hiking routes in the Nahe wine region. It runs between Martinstein and Bad Sobernheim over a distance of approximately 13 km through the central Nahe vineyards, with wide views of the Nahe valley and the surrounding low mountain landscape. The vineyards along the path produce Riesling, Pinot Noir, and the specialities of the Mittlere Nahe.
The festival format is designed for four days, allowing you to hike the entire route in several stages or use one day for a shorter tour. The route is active between 11 am and 6 pm each festival day: vintners and associations operate wine stands offering tastings and refreshments.
Several vintners from the communities between Martinstein and Bad Sobernheim present their wines along the route. The diversity of locations and styles provides a comprehensive impression of the Mittlere Nahe. Regional specialities at the refreshment stops ensure you stay energised during your hike.
A bus shuttle runs from 10:30 am to 7:30 pm between the endpoints, allowing hikers to design their tour flexibly. If you want to walk a shorter distance, you can skip part of the route using the shuttle. If you don't want to walk back after your hike, use the shuttle for the return journey. The contribution is approximately €2.50 per person.
The 2026 edition continues the concept of a four-day festival along the hiking trail. Four festival days give hikers the opportunity to experience the route in several stages or to use individual days for shorter tours.
The exact program for 2026, including the list of participating vintners and stands, will be published by the organiser in the summer. The structure follows the proven key points of previous years.
