Wein- und Winzerfest Lichtenrade 2025 — The 38th Edition
In September 2025, the 38th edition of the Wein- und Winzerfest Lichtenrade took place at the classic village pond ensemble in Alt-Lichtenrade. In its 38th edition, the Aktionsgemeinschaft Bahnhofstraße e.V., together with Family & Friends e.V., gathered around 30 German and Austrian winemakers — from the Mosel and Pfalz regions to Burgenland and Wachau. At the stalls around Hermann-Wundrich-Platz and the Lichtenrade village pond, Flammkuchen, cheese specialties, bread from regional bakeries, and honey from Brandenburg complemented the wine offerings. Artisans offered jewelry, ceramics, patchwork, and art prints, while chocolatiers presented their handmade pralines. Local bands played a diverse live program on the small stage by the water — from Wäscheleinophon to Jazzpolizei, as the Berlin festival audience loves it. Admission was, as in all years since 1987, completely free. With the 38th edition, the festival consolidated its format as one of the most beautiful and relaxed wine festivals in the capital, paving the way for the 39th edition in 2026, which will coincide with the celebrations for the 650th birthday of the Lichtenrade district.
