Edition 2025 — Wein- und Stadtfest Eschweiler
In 2025, the Wine Festival and Spring City Festival in Eschweiler were still held as separate events. Both festivals attracted numerous visitors to the city center and the Eschweiler-Mitte district. The great success of the separate editions led to the city's decision to merge both festivals into a joint major event in 2026.
The 2025 Wine Festival on Uferstraße and the Spring City Festival in Eschweiler's city center marked the prelude to the upcoming premiere of the combined Wine and City Festival in 2026. Both events were organized by the Eschweiler City Management and the city.
The positive response to the separate festivals in 2025 — especially the growing popularity of the wine festival — was the decisive reason for the merger. Eschweiler is thus clearly positioning itself as a festival and event location in the Aachen region.
