Edition 2025 — Goethe Birthday
On August 28, 2025, Weimar celebrated the 276th birthday of Goethe with free admission to the Klassik Stiftung houses, readings from Goethe's works, and concerts in a historic atmosphere — a well-established Weimar tradition.
Weimar 2025 — 276th Goethe Birthday
In August 2025, Weimar once again celebrated the birthday of its most famous citizen. The Klassik Stiftung opened its houses with free admission — Goethe House, Schiller House, Goethe's Garden House, and the Anna Amalia Library were well-attended throughout the day. Readings, concerts with music from Goethe's time, and discussions characterized the program. In 2026, the tradition continues with the 277th birthday.
