Overview

The Christmas market at Winterfeldtplatz took place in 2025 on all four Advent Sundays: November 30, December 7, 14, and 21, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. The carousel, petting zoo, mulled wine, bratwurst, roasted almonds, and stage program attracted thousands of residents and Berliners from across the district. Free admission.

The 2025 edition confirmed the Winterfeldtplatz market as one of Schöneberg's most popular Advent dates. Stalls were open on all four Advent Sundays, the carousel spun, the petting zoo was set up, and choirs and brass ensembles alternated on stage. Families from Schöneberg, Wilmersdorf, Tiergarten, and Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg met here.

The food offerings included classic Berlin Advent market fare: mulled wine and honey wine, bratwurst and potato pancakes, roasted almonds, candied apples, waffles, cotton candy, children's punch, and cocoa. Stallholders sometimes changed from week to week, but many had been regular vendors for years.
