Overview
The 2025 Christmas market at Siegen's Lower Castle ran as usual for five weeks from late November until just before Christmas. Over 70 stalls, an ice rink, and a historic Ferris wheel once again attracted thousands of visitors from Südwestfalen and nearby Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate to Siegen.
The 2025 Christmas market continued the long-standing Siegen tradition. The central location at the Lower Castle, the weekend program at Krönchendorf, and the parallel ice rink attraction drew day-trippers from the entire Siegerland region and surrounding areas.
3e-Märkte GmbH and the City of Siegen confirmed the 2026 edition, from November 20 to December 23, immediately afterward. The new opening hours from 2026 were announced and published in early 2026.
