Wilhelm-Dröscher-Platz is one of the central squares in Kirn's city center. It is named after the Rhineland-Palatinate Social Democrat Wilhelm Dröscher (1920-1977), who shaped the region's Social Democracy for decades. In Advent, the square transforms into an atmospheric Advent market with festively decorated Christmas huts.

The Kirn clubs are responsible for most of the catering with culinary classics: mulled wine, punch, bratwurst, potato pancakes, gingerbread, roasted almonds, and sweet specialties are standard.
