The Special Christmas Market on Kapuzinerplanken Mannheim

Advent Market 2025

In the winter of 2025, the special Christmas Market on Kapuzinerplanken took place in its usual form: white tents under a starry sky light design, carefully curated exhibitor selection, weekly changing inventory. From the beginning of Advent until shortly before Christmas Eve, the market opened in Mannheim's squares O5 and O6 in the Planken pedestrian zone.

As always, organizer VTM Mannheim focused on differentiating itself from the traditional Christmas market at the Water Tower: While the latter emphasizes rustic tradition, Kapuzinerplanken creates a modern, curated format. Both markets complement each other and together form Mannheim's Advent landscape. Following this, the New Year's Eve market was held at the same location from December 27th to 31st.
