Overview

The 2025 Burscheid Christmas Market opened on the first three Advent weekends and in the finale on December 19 at Engelrath 3. The heated huts Ulla, Hilde, Trudi, and Wilma, fresh Christmas trees from the Mütherich Tree Nursery from the 2nd Advent weekend, quark pancakes, mulled wine, children's punch, and the writing station at the Christkind characterized the family-friendly program.

The 2025 edition once again confirmed the Burscheid Christmas Market's status as a Bergisches insider tip. Three Advent weekends — November 29–30, December 6–7, and December 13–14 — plus the "Abglühen" finale on December 19 structured the Advent season. The heated huts with the charming Bergisches names Ulla, Hilde, Trudi, and Wilma offered shelter from the Rhineland's Advent weather. A lottery for the benefit of the Child Protection Association raised around €4,700 in 2024 — the tradition continued in 2025.
