The 2025 Weihnachtsmarkt Buer continued the tradition of Buer's Advent magic: wooden huts in the pedestrian zone, a Christmas parade at the opening, and a program of choirs, marching bands, and family activities. Despite changeable Advent weather, the nostalgic atmosphere and the community involvement from the Buer district once again attracted numerous families from the northern Ruhr area and southern Münsterland.
The 2025 edition built upon the proven concept of the Werbegemeinschaft Buer: a Christmas village atmosphere with illuminated wooden huts on Goldbergplatz, complemented by the stage program on Advent weekends. The traditional Christmas parade with music groups and clubs opened the market.
On Advent Sundays, a Sunday with open shops in Buer's town center supplemented the offerings. Variations of mulled wine, Sauerland and Münsterland specialties, bratwurst, potato pancakes, and candied almonds were served from the club stalls. The family highlight was the visit from St. Nicholas with a gift event for children.
