Overview

The Barmbek Christmas market 2025 ran from November 13 to December 30, 2025, on the Piazzetta Ralph Giordano in Hamburg-Barmbek-Nord. Closed on Totensonntag (Nov 23), Christmas Eve, Christmas Day 1st/2nd Day. Opening hours Mon–Fri 12 pm–9 pm, Sat 12 pm–9 pm, Sun 12 pm–8 pm. Programme as usual: chalet village, carousel, puppet theatre, magician Salvatore Sabbatino, two mulled wine stands, and changing workshops. Free admission.

The 2025 edition confirmed the concept of the Barmbek neighbourhood market: deliberately small, deliberately family-oriented, deliberately without a tourist stage. For six weeks, the chalet village on the Piazzetta Ralph Giordano shaped the daily life of the neighbourhood around Fuhlsbüttler Straße.

The two mulled wine stands (including HEISSE FUHLE with specialities directly from the vintner) were complemented by crêpes, bratwurst, vegan kale specialities, and doughnuts. The carousel, puppet theatre, and magician Salvatore Sabbatino formed the children's programme, supplemented by changing workshop dates for adults, which were announced via Facebook and Instagram. In the Hamburg-Nord district, the Barmbek market was one of the most important neighbourhood Advent locations.
