Weihnachtsmarkt Barmbek

The 2025 edition confirmed the concept of the Barmbek neighbourhood market: deliberately small, deliberately family-oriented, deliberately without a tourist stage. For six weeks, the chalet village on the Piazzetta Ralph Giordano shaped the daily life of the neighbourhood around Fuhlsbüttler Straße.

The two mulled wine stands (including HEISSE FUHLE with specialities directly from the vintner) were complemented by crêpes, bratwurst, vegan kale specialities, and doughnuts. The carousel, puppet theatre, and magician Salvatore Sabbatino formed the children's programme, supplemented by changing workshop dates for adults, which were announced via Facebook and Instagram. In the Hamburg-Nord district, the Barmbek market was one of the most important neighbourhood Advent locations.
