The 38th Amberger Weihnachtsmarkt took place from November 27th to December 23rd, 2025, on the Market Square. The festive opening on November 27th at 5 PM was performed by Mayor Michael Cerny, accompanied by the Paulaner trombone choir, the Marienheim kindergarten, and the Stadtwerke Amberg Christmas gnome.

The 38th edition of the Amberger Weihnachtsmarkt ran from November 27th to December 23rd, 2025, on the Market Square next to St. Martin's Basilica. The festive start on Thursday, November 27th, at 5 PM, was marked by the official opening by Mayor Michael Cerny.

The opening was accompanied by the Paulaner trombone choir, the Marienheim kindergarten, and the Stadtwerke Amberg Christmas gnome. As usual, the historic steam carousel, horse-drawn carriage rides, stalls with handicrafts and specialties, and a music program characterized the Advent weeks.
