Overview

The Weihnachtsgans-Auguste-Markt 2025 once again enchanted visitors from Oranienburg, the Oberhavel district, and the Berlin region in December. Three days of Advent atmosphere against the baroque castle backdrop made the market a fixed date in Brandenburg's Christmas market calendar.

The 2025 Christmas market attracted its usual mix of families, Advent day-trippers from Berlin and Brandenburg, and regular visitors from Oranienburg. Mulled wine, stick bread, fire pits, and the warm light of the castle formed the backdrop for a relaxed Advent weekend.

As in previous years, stalls with arts and crafts and regional specialties, workshops for children, a petting zoo, and the winter forest staging characterized the market. Live music and stage performances provided the musical Advent atmosphere. The market continues to commemorate Friedrich Wolf's children's book "Die Weihnachtsgans Auguste" with its name.
