Overview

The Weihnachtsdorf Wanderup 2025 opened on the first Advent weekend and, as every year, attracted visitors from Wanderup and the surrounding communities. With the proven mix of crafts, mulled wine, and music, and the commitment to supporting children's hospice care, the format remained unchanged.

The 2025 edition continued the tradition of the Weihnachtsdorf. For three days, Tarper Straße, Kamplangerweg, and Poststraße invited visitors for an Advent stroll. The stalls were staffed by volunteer residents of Wanderup and regional craftspeople, with the village associations organizing the catering.

The proceeds from food and drinks went, as always, to support children's hospice care – a tradition that has established the Wanderup Weihnachtsdorf as a social anchor in the Advent calendar of the Schleswig-Flensburg district over the years.
