Edition 2025 — Weiherfest Liebelsberg
The 48th edition of the Liebelsberg Weiherfest took place in 2025 in the usual format: two days of summer festival by the pond, organized by the Liebelsberg Volunteer Fire Brigade Department. Catering, morning pint (Frühschoppen), family program, and the relaxed Black Forest setting made the festival, as every year, a reliable summer event in the calendar of the mining town Neubulach.
Black Forest Summer Festival Tradition
The Weiherfest has been a part of the summer calendar for the Liebelsberg community for almost 50 years. The Liebelsberg fire brigade department organizes setup, catering, service, and dismantling every year on a voluntary basis — a typical setup for many smaller festivals in the state of Baden-Württemberg.
In 2025, families from Liebelsberg and the surrounding area, hikers on Black Forest tours, acquaintances, and former Liebelsberg residents who traveled from distant places gathered again at the small pond on the outskirts. The relaxed profile — no stage, no big bands, but plenty of social interaction — is its hallmark.
