Edition 2025 — Weihenstephaner Bergfest
The 15th edition of the Weihenstephaner Bergfest in August 2025 once again brought together families, beer lovers, and the people of Freising in the Akademiehof of the state brewery. Brass music during the day, a dance band in the evening, and in between, a continuous children's program and the full Weihenstephaner range from freshly tapped Helles to Hefeweissbier. The Bergfest thus confirmed its role as the most important family brewery festival on Weihenstephaner Berg.
2025 Season – 15th Edition
In 2025, the Weihenstephaner Bergfest once again followed the proven format: festival operations during the day with brass music from the Stadtkapelle Freising and the in-house Premium Bavaricum Blaskapelle, and in the evening with a dance band until approx. 11 PM. The children's program with a bouncy castle, carousel, mini-train, and magic show was just as much a fixture as the culinary offerings with Hendl, Steckerlfisch, and freshly tapped Weihenstephaner beer.
The positive feedback on the 15th edition led to its continuation in 2026 with the upcoming 16th edition – proof that the Bergfest is firmly anchored in Freising and the surrounding district.
