Overview
The 2025 Andreasmarkt adhered to the proven concept: a compact, curated market on the first Sunday of Advent, supported by the market community of Weidenberg and its associations. The opening traditionally took place at 10:45 AM.
The vendors from Weidenberg's four partner towns – a specialty of the market that distinguishes it from other small Upper Franconian Advent markets – were present as usual with their culinary specialties and craft products. Bakers from Brittany traveled with buckwheat flour, speck and wine came from South Tyrol, Bohemian dumplings and slivovitz from the Czech Republic, and bigos and pierogi from Poland.
