Overview

In 2025, the Weidenbacher Kerwa was also celebrated around the second Sunday in May. TSV Weidenbach hosted the festival tent on the Bürgerplatz for four days, and the Heimatverein Weidenbach-Triesdorf organized the Kerwatanz in the Triesdorf Riding Hall. The festival once again confirmed the Kerwa's significance as a central meeting point for Weidenbach, Triesdorf, and the surrounding villages.

The Weidenbacher Kerwa 2025 followed the usual schedule: opening in the TSV festival tent, festivities throughout the weekend, a festive church service in St. Georgs Church, and the Kerwatanz in the Triesdorf Riding Hall on Saturday evening. As in previous years, the Weidenbach brass band played a significant part of the musical program.

The Triesdorf palace ensemble – marked by its margravial history – also provided a backdrop for strolls between the festival days. The Kerwa proved to be family-oriented, intergenerational, and deeply rooted in the village associations.

Prices

Free admission on the Bürgerplatz; Kerwatanz in the Riding Hall requires a fee.
