Overview

The 87th Weiden Spring Festival 2025 ran from late April to early May for ten days. The Papert festival tent with Schlossbrauerei Naabeck beer, dance bands, classic folk festival attractions, and a family day formed the program.

Review of the 87th Spring Festival 2025

The 87th Weiden Spring Festival 2025 attracted around 200,000 visitors to the festival grounds on Conrad-Röntgen-Straße. Festival host Sonny Boy Papert once again ran the main tent, and Schlossbrauerei Naabeck supplied the festival beer. Lower Bavarian dance bands like Highline and Grumis provided the atmosphere in the evenings. The festival parade, beer tapping, family day, and fireworks in the second week of the festival marked the proceedings.

The 2025 Spring Festival once again confirmed Weiden's role as the folk festival metropolis of the northern Oberpfalz and laid the groundwork for the 88th edition in 2026 with the new Hangover Tower.
