Weiden Christmas Market

In 2025, the Weiden Christmas Market once again invited visitors during the Advent season around the Old Town Hall on the Oberer and Unterer Markt. Festively decorated stalls offered arts and crafts and culinary specialties – from mulled wine and gingerbread to Langos and crêpes. The famous giant Advent calendar at the Old Town Hall opened a window daily with a picture painted by children. Live music on two stages, an ice rink, and a children's carousel created a festive Advent atmosphere, confirming the market as one of Eastern Bavaria's most important Advent markets in the city of Weiden in the Upper Palatinate.
