The 20th Wasserspiele Templin in July 2025 marked an anniversary: two decades of open-air festival on the water of Templin's Stadtsee lake. International artists from Germany, Poland, and the Czech Republic presented street theatre, acrobatics, and concerts on, over, and by the water—three days of festival atmosphere with thousands of visitors in the Uckermark.

20th Wasserspiele Templin 2025 — Anniversary Retrospective

The 2025 edition celebrated 20 years of Wasserspiele and confirmed the festival as one of Brandenburg's most distinguished open-air cultural events. With the concept of a festival stage directly on the water, the MKC Multikulturelles Centrum has created a unique selling proposition in Brandenburg's festival landscape.

With the 21st edition in 2026, the MKC continues this success story—a sophisticated, family-friendly festival with an international programme in one of Northern Germany's most beautiful natural settings.
