The Wasserburgfest 2025 once again drew medieval fans from the Uckermark and all of Brandenburg to Gerswalde moated castle. Two days of market life, combat demonstrations, and stage performances with a magician, music, and fire show confirmed the festival's reputation as a hidden gem.
In 2025, Gerswalde moated castle once again transformed into a medieval spectacle for a September weekend. The castle's support association organized the program featuring knight camps, a craft market, and stage shows.
The festival is one of the most important events in the north of the Uckermark and uses its proceeds to support the preservation and research of the historic castle complex.
