Overview
The premiere of the WASENBEATS Festival took place for the first time in 2025 at the Sauwasen Püttlingen leisure facility — with 18 artists on 2 stages. The concept of House, EDM, and Techno was met with positive reception, leading directly to the expansion of the format for 2026.
The first edition in 2025 successfully positioned the festival as a Saarland electronic open-air event. Local DJs and supra-regional headliners shared the two stages, and the young audience from Saarland and the surrounding greater region created the full Sauwasen atmosphere.
