Overview

In 2025, the 87th Warnemünder Woche once again brought around 2,000 sailors to the Mecklenburg Bay and hundreds of thousands of guests to the Baltic Sea beach. The regatta, festival parade, Beach Handball Days, and closing fireworks made the festival week in Rostock's seaside resort one of the major maritime summer events in the north.

The Warnemünder Woche 2025, as the 87th edition, continued the event's long tradition. For nine days, it combined the international sailing regatta on the Mecklenburg Bay with a maritime summer festival on the beach and along the Alter Strom in Rostock-Warnemünde.

As in previous years, the »Niege Ümgang« opened the festival week on land, while the sailors began their first races. Dragon boat races, Beach Handball Days, concerts, and a concluding fireworks display attracted guests from all over Germany and the Baltic Sea region. The edition confirmed the Warnemünder Woche's status as Germany's third-largest regatta event.
