Overview

The 2025 Wannsee After Work series featured the garden of the Liebermann Villa on several summer evenings. DJ sets, Café Max, and free movement in Max Liebermann's historic garden were the core of the format. Tickets in the €18–€20 range, complemented by classical concerts in the garden. The format once again established itself as a relaxed summer offering from the Max Liebermann Society, distinct from the classic museum evenings.

The 2025 edition of the series followed the established format: a relaxed summer evening with a DJ set in the garden, Café Max for snacks and drinks, and a view of the Großer Wannsee at sunset. The audience was a mix of Wannsee residents, Berlin culture enthusiasts, and day-trippers from Steglitz, Zehlendorf, and Berlin's city center.

The series proved itself as a more youthful counter-format to the classic museum evenings, attracting an audience to the villa that might not typically seek out the Liebermann collection. This confirmed the Max Liebermann Society's concept, which was further expanded in 2026 for the museum's anniversary.
