The 20th anniversary edition of Wandsbeker Winterzauber filled Wandsbeker Marktplatz from late October 2025 to early January 2026 with an ice rink, wooden huts, and district mulled wine. The round anniversary brought special promotions for families, ice skating shows on weekends, and another long event period of over two months.

The 20th edition of Wandsbeker Winterzauber took place from October 31, 2025, to January 4, 2026 – an anniversary year that confirmed the market as one of Hamburg's most enduring Advent institutions.

As in previous years, the 400-square-meter ice rink, the Alsatian wooden huts, and a diverse program of live music, choirs, and family activities characterized the festival. Parents and schools booked ice rink slots weeks in advance, and the festive lighting attracted visitors from all over the Wandsbek district.

The anniversary edition highlighted that Winterzauber has secured its place in Hamburg's Advent calendar as a quieter and family-friendly counterpoint to the tourist-filled city center markets.
