Walsroder Mittwoch (WaMi) 2026

The Walsroder Mittwoch is an established summer series by Stadtmarketing Walsrode, firmly anchored in the Heidekreis capital. In 2026, the series runs on four Wednesday evenings: Gaz Guzzlers (Soul Show) on May 20, The Keltics (Kiltrock) on June 3, Das Fiasko (Party Band) on July 1, and Open Air Cinema with Merqury on August 5. The WaMi on June 3 is thus the second musical highlight of the series.

Open-Air Concept

All WaMi events in 2026 are designed as open-air events from 6 PM to 11 PM. Admission is free. Catering is available on-site – with drinks, food stalls, and summer coffee. The central location in Walsrode's city centre ensures a lively atmosphere.

Behnke Eventservice

The Keltics' performance is organised by Behnke Eventservice. Behnke Eventservice is one of two organisers who manage the WaMi series in collaboration with Stadtmarketing Walsrode – the second organiser is the fairground operator Ahlden. This division of labour enables the professional execution of the series.
