Third Spring Festival in the Anniversary Year
Since its first edition, the Wallmerod Spring Festival has established itself as a spring event in the VG-Wallmerod calendar. The third edition in 2026 falls within the festive year celebrating the 750th anniversary of the market town and is organized by the Wallmerod Business Association in close coordination with the local municipality and associations. The festival combines a commercial platform, family program, and cultural staging into a dense Sunday program that attracts visitors from all over the Westerwald region.
Sunday Shopping and Markets
Wallmerod shops will open their doors for Sunday shopping from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. On approximately 600 meters of the main street, more than 40 exhibitors will present their stalls at the flea and craft market, complemented by gastronomic offerings from associations, food stalls, and local restaurants.
Three Stages and Show Program
Three event stages will host live music, fashion shows, and interactive activities throughout the day. Special attractions include an exhibition of historic Lanz-Bulldog tractors and classic cars, two fashion shows by local boutiques, and a bull riding competition for brave guests. Families can benefit from an open kindergarten with childcare services.
Mobility and Service
A free shuttle bus runs every 15 minutes between the outer parking lots and the town center, ensuring a relaxed arrival even during peak times. The day concludes at 5 p.m. with a grand raffle featuring numerous prizes from local providers, enhanced with special prizes for the 2026 anniversary year.

Spring Festival in Anniversary Mode
The third edition will be particularly visible as it is embedded in the festive calendar for Wallmerod's 750th anniversary. Exhibitors, associations, and traders are joining forces.
More Than 40 Exhibitors
On approximately 600 meters of the festival mile, you will find flea market stalls, craftspeople, associations, fashion vendors, and gastronomic stands. Three stages will provide continuous entertainment.

- 10 a.m.: Ecumenical service to open the festival.
- 12 p.m.: Start of Sunday shopping, opening of the market mile and the three event stages.
- Afternoon: Fashion shows, bull riding competition, classic car and Lanz-Bulldog exhibition, interactive activities for children, open kindergarten for childcare.
- 5 p.m.: End of market operations, grand raffle with prizes from local providers and special prizes for the anniversary.
