Edition 2025 — Walheimer Maifest
The Walheimer May Festival 2025 took place on Friday/Saturday as is traditional with a procession, Maypole raising, Family Day, and festival tent live band. The Maijungen Walheim e.V. association crowned its King and Queen and held the festival in the event tent at Prämienstraße 57. Proceeds, as always, went to local hospices and children's organizations in the Aachen region.
Walheimer May Festival 2025
In 2025, the Maijungen Walheim once again organized their traditional May Festival at the event tent on Prämienstraße 57. Friday evening featured a procession with around 250 participants and the ceremonial Maypole raising, while Saturday offered a Family Day during the day and a live band in the evening.
The King and Queen for 2025 were crowned by the Maijungen and represented the association until the 2026 May Festival. As every year, proceeds from tickets, drinks, and food were donated to local hospices and children's organizations in the Aachen region — a social component that has characterized the festival for years.
