The Waldstock Festival 2025 took place in July on the festival meadow on Schloßberg in Pegnitz – as always with free admission and free camping. Friday evening offered folk, singer-songwriters, jazz, and world-pop, while Saturday, the main day, featured a packed program of regional acts and international newcomers. One of Bavaria's largest free open-air festivals, organized by Waldstock e.V.

Waldstock 2025 – Review

In 2025, Waldstock e.V. once again transformed Pegnitz's Schloßberg into a free festival stage. The family-friendly free open-air festival attracted a large audience from Upper Franconia and all of Bavaria, as it does every year.

2025 Program

Following the tried-and-tested concept, Friday evening offered calmer sounds (folk, singer-songwriter, jazz, world-pop), while Saturday, the main day, featured the most packed program with regional acts and international newcomers from the indie, rock, and alternative scene. Admission and camping were free, as always. The festival once again confirmed its reputation as one of Bavaria's largest free open-air events.
