The 2025 Waldfest took place as usual on the weekend around St. John's Day in June at the Waldfestplatz. Saturday: Festival opening with dancing and live music. Sunday: Family day with Frühschoppen, lunch, and cake buffet. Organizer: Turnverein Buir 1954 e.V.
Waldfest 2025 in Buir
In 2025, the Waldfest once again brought together the Buir village community and guests from surrounding Eifel villages at the Waldfestplatz behind Wiesenstraße 12. With dry weather, the Saturday evening dance party lasted late into the night.
Sunday, with its Frühschoppen, lunch, and cake buffet, attracted families from Nettersheim, Marmagen, Engelgau, and Tondorf — the Waldfest remains the undisputed summer kickoff for Buir's club association.
