Edition 2025 — Waldfest D'Holzar
In 2025, the Trachten- und Heimatverein D'Holzar Fischen once again invited to the traditional Waldfest at the Waldfestplatz in Weidach. Morning pint, traditional costume program with Schuhplattler and alphorn players, children's program, and evening dancing brought together locals and vacationers from the Oberallgäu region.
Waldfest 2025
In the summer of 2025, the Waldfest of the Trachten- und Heimatverein D'Holzar took place as usual on the last Sunday of July. The morning began with a "Frühschoppen" and brass band, in the afternoon folk dance groups, Schuhplattler, young musicians, and alphorn players from the association performed. Families enjoyed a children's program with a bouncy castle and games. From 5:00 PM, the music invited dancing into the night. For years, the Waldfest has been one of the most popular traditional costume events in the Allgäu summer calendar.
