The Waldenbuch Christmas Market 2025 took place in early December on the historic market square, confirming its proven format: a 20-meter illuminated Christmas tree, curated stalls, chocolate specialties, and Swabian Advent cuisine. An established Advent institution in the southern Böblingen district — with regular visitors from the entire Schönbuch region.
Advent Idyll 2025
In 2025, the Waldenbuch Christmas Market again attracted its regular crowd from Waldenbuch, Aichtal, Schönaich, and the entire Schönbuch region. The mix of a compact, atmospheric market and the town's chocolate identity remains its hallmark.
Waldenbuch Castle offered special guided tours for market visitors, and the Ritter Museum was also open — a combination that makes a day trip to Waldenbuch worthwhile. The 20-meter Christmas tree once again became the region's photo hotspot, and the Swabian specialties at the stalls were, as always, of the finest quality — Maultaschen, homemade breads, sausages from the Berschet butcher shop (a local institution).
