A proven summer season
The 2025 season at Waldbühne Rügen followed the usual pattern: season start with 'Dance into May', a dense concert program during the summer months with Schlager, rock, pop, and tribute acts, plus occasional cabaret and classical crossover evenings, and a season finale in September. The profile between mainstream Schlager, German pop, hard rock, and comedy has established itself as a successful formula over the years, attracting both island residents and summer tourists from across Germany.
The approximately 4,500 seats and 800 standing places were mostly sold out for the major artists. The 2026 season continues the proven format with about a dozen concert evenings again.
