Overview

In 2025, the Waldbröl City Festival also lasted four days and attracted tens of thousands of visitors from the Oberbergisches, Bergisches Land, and Westerwald regions to the city center. The opening by the city leadership, a classic fair program, and a Sunday with open shops, including a city festival church service, were part of the fixed program.

The 2025 edition once again confirmed the reputation of the Waldbröl City Festival as the largest Volksfest in the Oberbergischer Kreis. For four days, the program ran between the market square, Hochstraße, and Oststraße — rides, stalls, live music, and the convivial gathering of the entire town, complemented by numerous club stands.

In 2025, the festival was again organized by Wir für Waldbröl GmbH. The Sunday with open shops and the traditional Frühschoppen on Monday rounded off the program and ensured that the City Festival maintained its firm place in the region's event calendar.
