Edition 2025 — Wagnergassenfest

The third edition of the Wagnergassenfest 2025 brought music, a creative market, and hands-on activities to Wagnergasse and Johannisplatz. Thousands of visitors were drawn to the street festival in the pub district of the university city of Jena, which once again proved its reputation as the cultural heart of the city.

In 2025, the Initiative Innenstadt Jena curated a program of live music, DJ sets, and street theater. The creative market featuring local artisans and the gastronomy from the Wagnergasse establishments rounded off the festival. The response from the city and the press was so positive that the initiative decided to move the festival to May in 2026.
