Edition 2025 — Wackersdorfer Kirwa
The Wackersdorfer Kirwa 2025 was celebrated in early July at Glück Auf-Platz. The 'Glück-Auf' Wackersdorf Youth Club with its girls' group hosted the traditional Upper Palatinate Kirwa with Kirwabaum, live music, and a family program.
In 2025, the 'Glück-Auf' Wackersdorf Youth Club and its girls' group once again invited to the traditional Wackersdorfer Kirwa at Glück Auf-Platz, in front of the sports hall. For several days, live music, the Kirwabaum, and numerous activities for families and children characterized the festival.
The Kirwaburschen and Kirwamadli in traditional costume erected the Kirwabaum and performed the traditional 'Austanzen'. Residents, those returning home, and guests from the surrounding area came together to jointly preserve the Upper Palatinate Kirwa tradition. The festival once again confirmed its firm place in the event calendar of Wackersdorf.
