Overview
In 2025, the Wachmannstraßenfest once again transformed Wachmannstraße and Benqueplatz in Bremen-Schwachhausen into a vibrant festival mile. Flea market stalls, live music, gastronomy from waffles to burgers, cultural contributions, and numerous hands-on activities for families attracted visitors from all over the district, with many shops participating with special promotions. With the Human Table Soccer tournament as a sporting highlight, Schwachhausen celebrated again over the weekend. Organized by the association Die Wachmannstraße e.V., the festival, with free admission, confirmed its reputation as one of the most popular street festivals in eastern Bremen.
The 2025 edition followed the proven concept: a car-free Wachmannstraße full of flea market stalls, music, gastronomy, and hands-on activities, supported by the association Die Wachmannstraße e.V. The Human Table Soccer tournament provided sporting competition and good spirits. With extended shop opening hours and cultural contributions, the festival became a lively weekend experience that brought together the bourgeois neighborhood of Schwachhausen.
