Overview
In 2025, the VR Bank-OpenAir once again transformed the Jägersburg Castle Park into an open-air stage with classical, musical, and family pop evenings, each performed for several thousand listeners against a baroque castle backdrop.
For several years, VR Bank Bamberg-Forchheim has been organizing the OpenAir at Jägersburg Castle as a regular event. In 2025, the weekend followed the established pattern: a classical opening evening, a popular main evening (Musical/Pop), and a family concert.
The character of the event – concert-like, seated, high-quality production in a baroque setting – has remained consistent over the years. The series is a fixed date in early summer for concert lovers in the Bamberg-Forchheim region.
