Vorsfelde — A District with its Own Identity

Vorsfelde is one of Wolfsburg's most traditional districts and retains its own character despite being incorporated into the 'Volkswagen City'. With its historic castle complex, market church, and active club life, Vorsfelde is a vibrant district in northern Wolfsburg. The Vorsfelde Marksmen's Society is one of the district's most important clubs, and the annual Schützenfest is their most significant public event.

Bogenstraße Fairground

The fairground on Bogenstraße offers ideal conditions for a multi-day Volksfest (public festival): a festival tent with a dance floor and stage, shooting ranges, an area for carousels and amusement rides, catering stalls, and ample space for parades. Its central location within the district makes it easily accessible and creates a meeting point for the entire population.

Four Festival Days with Daily Program

The festival runs from Thursday to Sunday, daily from 3 PM to 11:30 PM. These extended opening hours allow for attracting families in the afternoon as well as utilizing the long summer evenings for the festival tent program and dancing. The opening evening, King's Shooting, Children's Bird Shooting, evening dance events, a festival service, a grand procession, and the festive proclamation of the new majesties characterize the traditional proceedings.
