Overview

The 32nd Wittenberg Volleyball Summer and the 22nd Sparkassen Cup in June 2025 once again gathered numerous teams from several federal states in the Ernst-Thälmann-Stadion. On up to 24 beach courts, mixed beach volleyball was played in several performance classes – the tournament solidified its reputation as the largest beach event in the Prignitz.

At its 32nd edition in June 2025, the Wittenberg Volleyball Summer once again confirmed its status as the most important beach volleyball tournament in the Prignitz. Teams from all over Germany traveled to the Hanseatic city on the Elbe; the Ernst-Thälmann-Stadion was transformed into a beach arena with up to 24 courts for three days. Mixed categories from hobby to regional league ensured a broad field of participants; the award ceremony with trophies from the Prignitz Sparkassen Cup and the final beach party in the stadium were once again among the highlights of the summer in Wittenberge.
