Overview

The 2025 summer festival in Volkspark Potsdam filled the Großer Wiesenpark with families from Bornstedter Feld and the entire state capital. Children's bands, magicians, and small circus groups performed on stage, followed by open-air concerts with local bands from Potsdam and Berlin in the evening. The Biosphäre beer garden, several food stalls, and the water playground made the day a classic open-air summer festival.

In the summer of 2025, Volkspark Potsdam was dedicated to its annual big summer festival for a Saturday. Stalls opened early in the afternoon, the beer garden filled up, and circus and children's programs began on the meadow — a tradition that ProPotsdam has maintained at a consistently high level for years.

The highlight, as usual, was the evening program with cover bands and a regional reggae or ska ensemble. Thousands of visitors spent the evening on the lawns, the water playground was open all day, and the small hands-on stations run by kindergartens and associations once again made Volkspark the undisputed meeting point for Potsdam's families.
